How to arrange our courier service?

Booking a courier online is quick and easy, whether you choose to arrange a collection from your home or place of work, or drop off to one of our 54 depots nationwide, or your local Post Office® branch.

To book your parcel courier online:

  • Head to our quote and book page and enter your parcel details
  • Select your preferred service and pickup/drop off option
  • Choose additional compensation cover if required
  • Pay by credit card, debit card, or Paypal
  • The parcel label will be emailed for you to print and affix to the parcel

How much are our courier services?

Our courier prices start from £9.65 for a two day service. The price you pay will depend upon the parcel’s weight and the speed of the service chosen. The Discounts are available if you drop your parcel at a Post Office branch or Parcelforce depot, or request delivery to one of these for your recipient to collect from. You can read more about our pickup and drop off discounts below.

When comparing courier costs, you should consider what’s also included in the price. For example, all of our UK parcel services include compensation cover of at least £100, and quote guaranteed delivery speeds, meaning you can claim a full or proportionate refund of the cost of delivery if it doesn’t arrive within the guaranteed delivery time.

UK Courier Prices

The Parcelforce Worldwide guarantee

We want to take the best care of our customers, so with the exception of our non-guaranteed international services (globalvalue and globaleconomy), you may claim a full or proportionate refund of the carriage cost if your consignment does not arrive at its destination within the guaranteed delivery time. The amount of money you’ll get back varies according to which of our courier services you’ve selected – visit our refunds for late delivery page for more information.

Collections/drop-offs

Customers who book our courier services online can choose from a wide range of collection and drop-off options. We can collect your parcel directly from your doorstep, or, if you’d prefer, you can drop it off at a Post Office® branch or one of our depots, located across the UK. Similarly, you can have your parcel delivered to your recipient’s local Post Office® branch or a depot close to their address – whatever’s more convenient.

We also offer discounts on our courier services when you book online and choose from a range of drop off and collection options – please visit here for our latest online prices.

Track and trace

You can check your parcel’s whereabouts at every stage of its journey with our track and trace tool. All you need is your tracking number – enter this into our online parcel finder and we’ll trace your goods in a matter of seconds. If you’re waiting to receive a package, contact the sender for the tracking number. If you’ve bought goods online, it should be in the retailer’s order confirmation email. Note that online tracking is not available for parcels sent using our globalvalue and globaleconomy international services.

Business Accounts

For those who send parcels to UK addresses at least once a week, or to international addresses more than twice a month, a Parcelforce Worldwide account could see you save money on your future deliveries. When you open an account, you get access to a range of benefits, including up to 45% off standard prices. From affordable, flexible delivery options to export advice and a dedicated account manager to make sure you’ve got everything you need, we aim to provide only the best customer service.

FAQs

Which countries do Parcelforce Worldwide deliver to? Our international parcel delivery services span every continent – we deliver to more than 240 countries and overseas territories, and to 99.6% of the world’s population. Visit the Parcelforce Worldwide Directory to see the full list of countries we deliver to.

What if my item is fragile? If your item is fragile, we recommend that you place fragile labels on all sides of the outer box, and that you follow our packaging guidelines to ensure your items are well protected. Some fragile items are not covered for compensation in the event of damage. For further details, please view our our list of items excluded from compensation.

What items can’t I send with you? There are two kinds of items that can cause problems: restricted goods, which can only be delivered if certain criteria are met, and prohibited goods, which can’t be accepted for delivery at all. This is usually because they have the potential to be dangerous. If you send or attempt to send a parcel containing prohibited or unauthorised restricted goods, we would have to return it to you – or, in some instances, we would destroy your parcel. Please make sure you’re aware of what we can and can’t carry on your behalf before you send. See our full list of our restricted and prohibited goods for further details.

Can I send more than one item in the same parcel?

Of course – just make sure each item in the parcel is wrapped individually and protected with appropriate packing materials.

My parcel was late/damaged/lost, so why I am not eligible for compensation?

If you’re not eligible for compensation, this might be because the items you sent are excluded from compensation, or because your parcel was not packaged properly according to our packaging guidelines. Unfortunately, we cannot offer compensation for loss or damage of any dangerous, hazardous or prohibited goods. Various fragile, perishable and valuable items are also excluded from compensation, including jewellery, antiques or items made of, or containing, glass. To find out more, see the full list of items excluded from compensation.
