Important information when exporting to South Korea
- In order to ensure a delivery on time, please ensure that your parcel has the full, correct address, an email address in the correct format and a mobile or landline number for the intended recipient. This will help the delivery partner to ensure the parcel is delivered correct first time. This should be clearly marked on the parcel.
- Timescales shown above do not include delays caused by destination country customs processes. Please be aware that customs could add additional time to your parcel delivery.

- When sending on Global Priority, article 261 of the Enforcement Decree of the Customs Act now requires health functional foods and drugs contained in mail items to be added to the list of goods subject to import customs declaration with a view to public health protection.
- Sending parcels to South Korea requires customs paperwork for most items
- In addition, the country name "The Republic of Korea" should always be used in full.
- Certificates of origin are required for most types of goods.
- Some goods are subject to import licences and surveillance approval by the Association of Foreign Trading Agents in Korea.
- Genetically modified foodstuffs must be clearly marked as such.
- Pre-shipment inspection by a recognised organisation is required for cosmetics, medical products, electrical equipment and machinery
