Important information when exporting to Russia
- In order to ensure a delivery on time, please ensure that your parcel has the full, correct address, an email address in the correct format and a mobile or landline number for the intended recipient. This will help the delivery partner to ensure the parcel is delivered correct first time. This should be clearly marked on the parcel.
- Parcelforce has suspended its globalpriority and globalexpress services to the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine following instability since the Russian occupancy of the region in early 2014. Postcodes affected and therefore do not have any current service are shown and maintained on our international live service update page.
- Items addressed to a PO box will be left at a local post office branch for collection and notification left at the PO box address
- Timescales shown above do not include delays caused by destination country customs processes. Please be aware that customs could add additional time to your parcel delivery.
- The definition of 'working days' and other important information can be found here
- To avoid delivery / customs issues, our carrier partners request that a full name is mandatory for globalexpress parcels (e.g. Mr John Smith)
- Max 100 USD or 25 KG to addresses in Moscow.
- Max 50000 USD or 68 KG (per consignment) to addresses in St Petersburg.

- The Russian customs authorities have informed our delivery partner that they are no longer allowed to use its established express clearance processes and rules for inbound shipments – other than document shipments - addressed to private person consignees. The details of the new regulations and associated procedures have not yet been established or officially published. Until the details of the new clearance requirements have been confirmed, we are temporarily suspending globalexpress items with goods or merchandise enclosed sent to private individuals at a private address. Documents for both business and private addresses can still be sent and also merchandise to business addresses. The normal value limit of 200 Euros for Russia still applies. Items for private individuals with merchandise already accepted will be sent on as globalpriority.
- globalexpress transit times are based upon collection times, sender and recipient locations.
- For details, please use the globalexpress calculator in the section at the end of this page.
[Note for awareness: the globalexpress calculator illustrates delivery speeds for parcels sent by account customers; parcels sent by retail channels may take longer and depend on posting method]
